As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our Production Department. Job Description: Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? If so, we want to hear from you! As a Forklift Operator you will play a crucial role in our warehouse and production processes. Responsibilities: Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and consumer products within the warehouse. Loading and Unloading: Efficiently unload materials and products from incoming vehicles/trailers and stack them in designated warehouse locations. Packaging Preparation: Prepare returnable/reusable packaging materials on pallets, including shrink-wrapping or strapping as needed. Material Handling: Load trailers with pallets of returnable/reusable packing materials and assist in loading materials to the Case erector machine. Quality Assurance: Identify and report damaged or missing materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Material Supply: Supply raw materials to production lines and production areas based on the production schedule. Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, consolidating like-products as required. Assist Primary Operators: Collaborate with primary area operators, load cases with forklift, remove excess cases, and organize products efficiently. Safety and Quality: Adhere to safety and quality standards, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned. Rework: Participate in rework tasks when necessary. Requirements: Previous forklift driving experience is essential. Willingness to work overtime when required. Dress code adherence: Full-length pants (no shorts) no tank tops no excessively loose or tight clothing no jewelry or watches steel-toe shoes (own preferred, toe caps provided by the plant if needed) safety glasses (provided by the plant) and earplugs (provided by the plant).
