JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Packaging Technician for our client in Gainesville, Ga!

Pay rate: 20.68

Hours 6am to 4:30pm

**May not own or have contact with other birds or poultry.**


To perform all packaging functions in compliance within internal and regulatory governance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Performing all responsibilities associated with final product packaging, including, but not limited to: Operating department machine lines (Labeling Machines); performing quality inspection of freeze dried product and diluent; label printing verification; preparation of final released product for transportation to Distribution; Cold room temp chart verification. All processes must be documented in a timely manner with minimal errors.
Act as backup to operate ampoule labelers or other areas as assigned.
Restock inventory and supplies for department.
Clean and maintain organization of department.
Perform verifications as needed to ensure alliance with approved labeling. Pull samples for QC as needed.
Operate Forklift: move pallets and boxes within the department as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.


Skills:
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must have strong basic mathematical skills.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and carry it 10ft.
Must be able to perform all physical aspects of job, including but not limited to: pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, stooping, twisting and turning.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity are important.
Must be flexible and be a good problem solver.
Must be mechanically inclined.

Education:


High school diploma.
Previous packaging job experience. Two (2) years of production or packaging experience preferred.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work independently.
Must have moderate skills in basic computer operation; working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Oracle (or comparable inventory
