JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a D&T Field Support Technician for our client in Oakland, CA!

Pay rate: 40.00

? Duration: 6 months
? Location: This position will also require support of 2 sites. 1 in Oakland, CA and the other in Walnut Creek, CA (up to 2x a week). Travel costs between offices will be reimbursed if traveling between offices on same day.
? Hours: Standard

? Role Overview: Providing desktop support for CBRE enterprise employees in a corporate setting ? VPs, Broker Teams, etc. All office technology will be coordinated by and flow through this Resource. They will be the eyes and hands of engineers in escalations.

? Day to Day Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the daily operations for a specified location including software, hardware, tape backups, phone administration, and the local area network.
2. Provides level I & II end-user support for software and hardware issues.
3. Oversees the daily operations of the local area network. Installs and upgrades Microsoft Windows operating systems including standard business applications and associated peripherals.
4. Troubleshoots Desktop Virus and malware issues.
5. Maintains a daily backup of all network files.
6. Performs service administration tasks for software and hardware products to ensure manufacturer warranty.
7. Troubleshoots any software and hardware problems through debugging, testing, and vendor assistance.
8. Assists in the purchasing of new computer equipment and peripherals for a specified location.
9. Performs software and hardware inventory.

? Years? Experience Required: Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and a minimum of two to three years of related experience and/or training
? Systems/Software Proficiencies: Ticketing systems, Office Suite, Microsoft Intune, Networking, A/V
? Certifications: A+ PC Technician; -- Both Network + and Dell Hardware certification is a plus

? Top 5 Must have Skills:
1. Recent corporate experience supporting office technology.
2. Ability to effectively communicate and present information to executives, vendors, and customers.
3. Ticketing systems experience providing on site Level I & II support.
4. Inventory tracking systems knowledge and experience.
5. Ability to oversee daily operations as the main support with team collaboration for technology support.

? Top Nice to Have Skills:
1. Both Network + and Dell Hardware certification is a plus
2. Executive level support
