We are seeking temp to hire, 2nd shift and 3rd shift - Maintenance Mechanics for our client located in Torrance. Our client is a family-owned food company with portfolio includes creative solutions geared at helping food industry professionals compete in foodservice, retail, in-store bakery, deli, and prepared foods, among others. JOB SUMMARY: Perform basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic repair and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. Hours/shift will be from 1:00PM through 9:00PM. We offer shift premium. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: ??? Trouble shooting and diagnosis of mechanical and electrical failures. ??? Preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. ??? Perform welding, cutting and soldering using electric and gas equipment. ??? Occasionally must work in refrigerated areas where temperature extremes can reach 10 degrees F. ???
