JobsRus.com is looking to hire an IV Technician for our client in Redmond, WA 98052-2046 area. We offer benefits and weekly pay! Great Schedule! Monday- Friday 8a to 5p Performs compounding and any other tasks as required that relate to the dispensing of infusion therapy or as assigned. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations. Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the cleanroom area. Sanitizing, maintaining, and monitoring infusion equipment. Compounding pharmaceutical infusions. Engaging in pharmacy quality control and performance improvement efforts. Managing pharmacy inventory. Adhering to government regulations, including HIPAA. Undertaking additional assignments as directed; job duties may vary by location. Physical Requirements: Occasional sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking throughout the day. Possible 7 to 10 hours of sitting or standing per day. Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary. Finger dexterity for operating office equipment. Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds occasionally. Visual acuity for fine print and close work. Necessary hearing ability for normal conversations. Work Environment: Work in a controlled, smoke-free indoor environment. Handling of hazardous materials may be required. Minimum (Required) Qualifications: To perform this job at the required level, candidates must meet the following criteria: Preferred prior IV admixture experience. Preferably a graduate of a formal technician training program. Possession of a current pharmacy technician license, if mandated by the state. Successful completion of the Omnicare IV Technician Training Program. Preferred Qualifications (if exceeding the minimum requirements): Some pharmacy experience. A minimum of one year of previous experience in a hospital or home infusion setting. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have Washington State pharmacy technician license | |
