Job Title: Housekeeper Pay: $25k a year Location: Albany, GA Shift: - 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM - 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM Role Purpose: To maintain cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms and common areas, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and adherence to industry standards of excellence. Key Accountabilities: - Promptly respond to requests from guests and other departments. - Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards. - Anticipate and address guest service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities. Room Maintenance: - Fill and transport housekeeping carts to assigned areas. - Ensure rooms are vacant before entering and follow procedures for gaining access. - Replace guest amenities and supplies, and make beds. - Clean and sanitize bathrooms. General Cleanliness: - Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items from rooms. - Check that all appliances in the room are in working order. - Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. - Vacuum carpets and perform other floor care duties. Safety and Company Policy: - Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. - Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, or accidents. - Complete required safety training and certifications. Key Skills & Experiences: - Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred. - Attention to detail and high standard of cleanliness. - Strong work ethic and reliability. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Basic understanding of English language for guest interaction and reading instructions. - Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and handle cleaning supplies.
