JobsRUs.com is seeking Coating Machine Operators for a client in Janesville, WI. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a premier employer! 1st shift 7am-3pm Monday-Friday $15.00 to start Summary of Duties: Responsible for the daily operations involved in manufacturing quality products on the coating equipment. Understand the function and be able to operate all parts of the machine. Keep accurate and legible records in the daily production log. Practice safe operating procedures around equipment and solvent-based adhesives. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Daily Functions: 1. Take staged raw materials and load them onto the machine. 2. Prepare coating compounds for production runs. 3. Monitor adhesive levels in the feed system and replace drums/totes when required. 4. Seal up and label containers of waste fluids and solids in the mix room for subsequent hazardous waste shipment. 5. Clean fittings, hoses, and pumps associated with adhesives supply and waste accumulation equipment. 6. Organize and store coating equipment in designated areas. 7. Clean adhesive from rolls and idlers during machine downtime. 8. Generate labels for product and inventory roll information. 9. Cut samples for QA tests and retains for files after production of each material produced. 10. Perform a volatility test on sampled materials for each master roll of material produced. 11. Assist in cleaning the machine and ancillary equipment at the end of the shift.
