We are currently hiring for Utility Workers in Carthage, NY. $18/hour Rotating 12 Hour Shifts, Monday thru Sunday (days will vary) Overtime Mandatory Minimum Skills Required - High School Diploma or Equivalent - Must pass and maintain mobile equipment certifications for: Clamp truck, Fork truck, Spotter tractor, and all other mobile equipment required to perform tasks Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Retrieve stock and supplies from warehouse. - Operate fork truck and clamp truck - Prepare broke for Paper Machines and store unused broke - Prepare and weigh pulp on scale - Properly dispose of waste - Maintaining an operating fork truck, pulp scales, monitor contaminants - Determine pulp and filler supply needs - Maintain fork lift inspection reports - Prepare rolls for shipping; inspect, splice as needed - Operator roll shuttle, core cutter, slab bailer, winder, and information control computer - Thread machine and winder - Remove rolls from roll table and roll cart - Tie up slab bales and cut cores - Perform shift housekeeping tasks - Prepare equipment for use - Assist machine operators during changes and machine downtime as directed - Removal and installation of wires, press felts, dryer felts, conveyor felts - Cleaning of tanks and chests - Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding paper holds - Perform required tasks for sheet breaks - Effectively wrap and label rolls from machine, prepare for shipment by assuring they are wrapped and labeled correctly for system - Maintain a clean work environment at all times **Other tasks as specified by supervisor or operator JobsRUs.com Cares: *Pay Options: Direct Deposit, Paper Checks or pay cards; paid weekly *Health/Dental/Vision Insurance options compliant with the ACA *401k *Online Employee Portal to adjust withholdings and view and print pay stubs We look forward to working with you; JobsRUs.com Cares!
