Job Description: Schedule Supply and Demand orders through Distribution Centers through MRP. Drive optimal service levels to customers through a balanced supply chain. SKILLS / COMPETENCIES NEEDED ? Strong understanding of Planning and planning systems ? Problem solving attitude ? Excellent verbal and written communication ? Decisive ? Detail Orientated ? Excellent organizational skills ? Customer focused ? Analytical EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ? 2-3 years working in a supply chain environment ? Distribution or manufacturing planning experience ? Planning systems knowledge within a multinational organization ? College degree or commensurate experience KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Run MRP Daily in SAP on assigned MRP codes ? Run Schedule tool multiple times per day to find new orders pending schedule ? Create or convert supply plan in line with best available schedule to support demand ? Manage supply gaps, delays or shortages with Demand Planners ? Execute on priority allocations ? Run and analyze open backlog reports and maintain an accurate schedule ? Review safety stocks and re-order points with Demand Planning ? Communicate supply issues to customer service, Logistics and Operations ? Work daily with customer service, logistics and operations to ensure an accurate execution to plan | |
