Exempt/Non Exempt: Non Exempt Years Experience: 2 years or advanced degree(s) may offset required years of experience
Skills: Prefer Clinical Chemistry analyzer testing experience. Knowledge of GMP, ISO and FDA regulations is desirable.
Education: Bachelor's degree in scientific or technical field
Duties Provide technical support for diagnostic products. Develop and design experiments, perform testing on Clinical Chemistry instruments, analyze data and summarize results.

Performs engineering evaluation studies. Develops and executes system related (i.e. hardware, software, labeling, and/or assay) verification and characterization protocols and supports data package summaries in accordance with governing procedures. Identifies and confirms cause of instrument or subassembly issues, discrepancy or problems in accordance with governing procedures. Responsibilities: Runs defined protocols/experiments and development of associated data packages and associated documentation; Basic troubleshooting of instrument and repairs; Basic operation of instrument; Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system; Qualifications: BS in life sciences or closely related discipline; 0-2 years of work experience in this job area; Good lab practices; PC skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Python experience a plus

Brief synopsis of what the worker will be doing:
Candidate would be able to follow and/or develop protocols for testing diagnostic equipment. Testing will involve system level testing and python script testing. Candidate should have good communication skills for writing protocols and presenting data.

skillset previous person had that complimented : Able to effectively follow procedures. Able observe and document deficiencies in procedures. Good communication skills. Familiarity with python coding would be a bonus but not required.
