Shift: 7: 45 to 4:15 pm - 5 days a week

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a top-tier service outlet dedicated to repairing client equipment promptly and efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact our repair operations' productivity and enhance the image of owning client tools. You will also play a crucial part in the company's financial success by controlling cost of goods sold (COGS), improving processes, and ensuring cost containment throughout the repair process. Your primary duties include:

Adhering to the worldwide Champion 3C Strategy, focusing on customers, concentration on key markets, and competency in innovation and quality.
Maintaining technical expertise through continuous professional development, including studying online repair manuals, schematics, and technical files.
Conducting high-quality repairs by diagnosing problems accurately and applying prescribed corrective measures using appropriate tools and systems.
Utilizing hand scanners to receive, diagnose, pick spare parts, repair tools, and conduct final functional and safety testing to ensure customer safety.
Assisting in maintaining adequate parts inventory and ensuring best-in-class repair service by managing inventory levels and assisting with benchmarking and standardizing repairs.
Maintaining excellent communication with customers, sales personnel, and participating in Tool Repair Workbench Summits to reduce costs and standardize repairs.
Providing data and information to enhance the overall quality and safety of tools.
Keeping work areas, tools, and equipment organized and in good order to perform the job safely and efficiently.
Adhering to company policies, procedures, values, and principles.
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:

Work Environment:

You'll work in a workshop environment that may be subject to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and particles.
Safety Equipment:

Strict adherence to safety regulations is required, as per client and Occupational Health and Safety Standards (OSHA). You must wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, safety vests, and other necessary safety equipment when working in the facility or operating machinery.
Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting of up to 70 lbs.
Standing for extended periods, with repetitive reaching, bending, and climbing.
The ability to stand for up to 8 hours daily while performing tool repairs at your workstation.
Skills:

Experience in mechanical or electrical repairs.
Experience with Windows applications is preferred.
Education:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required.
