Weekly Pay! $17.50/Hour Shift: 3 As a Production Specialist, your key responsibility will be to perform various manufacturing tasks to produce high-quality medical diagnostic products while ensuring a clean and safe work environment. You will get an opportunity to cross-train in multiple work centers and develop new skills for career advancement. You will operate under 5S & Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO standards, and contribute towards producing innovative products that promote the health of people and animals. Here's what you can expect in this role: You will read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures, and government regulations. You will operate a range of machines on a rotating basis, which includes set-up operation, clean-up, change-over, troubleshooting, and minor repairs for manufacturing equipment in the work center. You will apply basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. You will need excellent communication skills as you will be working with a team and may have to provide production and process training to other employees. What you will need to succeed: While having some manufacturing or production experience is great, it's not necessary as we are willing to train you to be successful in this role. All you need is a willingness to learn. You should be able to meet the physical requirements of working on the production floor, which includes standing for over 2 hours, sitting, phone and computer use, extended reach, lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally climbing, kneeling, or bending, and specific vision ability such as close, color, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. | |
