Shift: M - F 7am - 3:30pm Payrate: $18/hr Benefits: 401k Health, Dental, Vision Insurance $100 Referral Bonus Job Details: Material Handlers are responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of product within the distribution center. The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position. Duties and Responsibilities: Pallet/Case Picking Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes. Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Pallet Building: Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets. Re-palletizing products for shipment. May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper. May be required to transport pallets by MHE. Inbound/Outbound/Inventory Movement Inbound/Outbound shipments are to be loaded/unloaded utilizing the WMS. Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damages. Completes all assigned duties in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and following department procedures. May be responsible for operating the parcel manifest station and transporting documentation. Must follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses. Job Requirements High School diploma, GED or 2 years of relevant experience required. Experience with MHE. Including but not limited to Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker. Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification to meet BD guidelines.
