The tools and process established have proven to be good method of logging and tracking data essential for the engineers to stay on top of the investigations as well as sharing data and prioritizing investigations with cross functional teams. Many of these tools are now embedded into daily activities and referenced to in Engineering Management procedures (EMs) which are auditable under AS9100. These tools did consume leadership time to initiate and summer interns to build the automation aspect of the SharePoint tool. The tools are stable for now, but we have seen using off the shelf tools reaching limitations and start to break down. In other cases, the software manufacturer can still influence limitations parts of the tool which can cause it to not be reliable for long term planning. In addition, more features are being requested during the Client transition. SSO engineering is already preparing add MEGGIT data to the existing tools. This will require a more stable tool and planning for longer term projects. Utilizing summer interns was beneficial to get us this far and develop the initial phase of the tools. As Client transition continues, additional enhancements may be added to the SOW. The following tools are currently being utilized. The candidate would be required to be acquainted with the following software / apps to properly conduct the analysis. | |
