Weekly Pay! $54.28/Hour Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm REMOTE Position Entails Working on the implementation of the CDRA Technology Tool. CDRA is Clinical Data and Registry Operations. This operational area of Parallon is part of Health Information Management and they are responsible for the abstractions for various clinical registries. This position will help lead an effort that is implementing technology that can be used for all registries. Special Skills 5-7 years of Project Management Healthcare Clinical or HIM Operations Project Management a plus Healthcare Project Management experience recommended. This is not a technology position. Job Summary The Senior Project Manager I is responsible for all aspects of multiple medium to large projects with moderate to high complexity. This individual is responsible for taking projects from original concept through completion, acting as a single point of accountability for the projects, and utilizing Parallon Project Controls and Standards to ensure projects meet their stated objectives. The Senior Project Manager I must demonstrate strong commitment to stakeholder relationships by proactively communicating and taking ownership of risks/issues and facilitating effective outcomes in a timely manner. Moderate travel may be required, based upon job role. Duties (included but not limited to) Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members, and determine an effective approach to completing the work, as outlined in project plan Author/facilitate strategic documents such as Project Charters, Education and Communication plans, and detailed project plans, and present project updates to business owners Manage and communicate a clear project scope and motivate team members Manage multiple business owner(s) and team member(s) relationships to accomplish project activities Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies Monitor and report on project activities and reporting on statuses within published timelines Coach team members to clarify task assignments, milestones, and deliverables Identify, prepare, and/or ensure completion of high quality, professional deliverables as required by each project plan Facilitate the creation of toolkits to support field-based implementations Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Organization ? stays focused and proactively prioritizes initiatives; determines and effectively manages tasks and resources; schedules with keen ability to multi-task Project Management - takes responsibility and applies Parallon project controls to identify and communicate project scope, goals, project plan, and project progress/performance; leverages resources and makes preparations to ensure projects remain on schedule; ensures high quality Gaining Commitment - uses appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance of ideas or plans; modifies own behavior to accommodate tasks, situations, and individuals involved Tactical Execution - effectively uses project controls to manage projects PC / Technical Skills ? proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft Office applications (including OneNote, OneDrive, Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Outlook and PowerPoint to include Office Timeline add-on) Online collaboration tools, such as WebEx, WebEx Teams, online facilitation tools and/or other conference calling tools Project Management tools, project scheduling tools, agile scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project, MS Planner and/or another project scheduling tool Key Competencies Honor our Mission and Values Demonstrates integrity and strives to maintain professional standards and standards. Education Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience required Experience Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry Healthcare, hospital system, hospital, supply chain, workforce management, financial services, technical/systems experience a plus Client, HealthTrust, or Parallon experience a plus Certificate/License PMP certification preferred, but not required LEAN and/or SIX SIGMA certification a plus, but not required Physical Demands/Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work is an office environment. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations. OSHA Category: The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potential exposure to body fluids).
