Thursday and OT on Friday JOB DESCRIPTION Job Overview: Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) The MRO Buyer/planner will have primary responsibility to ensure that critical spare parts are kept at correct inventory levels, stockroom organization, and incoming receiving. Coordination of service requests for maintenance and facilities department and financial responsibility over spend for variable overhead supplies and maintenance for the plant Responsibilities: Receives materials, equipment, supplies, and services of a specialized or complex nature in accordance with prescribed purchasing regulations and procedures. Work with Vendors to resolve or improve spare parts deficiencies Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory and control costs. Maintain, updates pricing details for assigned vendor(s)/material(s) in CMMS. Sets up inventory location in AX and plant floor. Prints inventory tags for current inventory. Transitions plant to MicroSoft AX Materials Management. Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years of Maintenance Planning experience in a manufacturing environment, 1-2 years of experience of purchasing, and 3-5 years of Maintenance Inventory Control experience required. Ability to exercise independent judgement and decision-making Must have effective planning, organizational, decision-making skills and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. Possesses an advanced understanding of MRP (material requirements planning) tools and techniques. Must Have Computerised Maintenance Management System Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Microsoft Dynamics AX Pallet Jack Pricing Purchasing Receiving Deliveries Vendor Management | |
