Benefits Available! $35.75/Hour *Must be bilingual in Spanish & English* Temp to Hire Production Supervisor Our client is seeking someone proficient in both English and Spanish. You must have a significant amount of experience in manufacturing or production with strong leadership abilities. Previous experience working in fiver assembly is a huge plus! Responsible for personnel development; training, supervising, directing, and motivating manufacturing personnel to achieve short- and long-term departmental objectives Execution of the daily/weekly production plan. Including coordination of +150 order lines/day. Work with production planner and operations manager with organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules. Check production output according to specifications. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. Report performance and progress reports to the Human Resources Department. Measures and evaluates employee performance according to company standards for quality, productivity, and career advancement. Leads activities to communicate and maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices. Notifies production manager of equipment and maintenance problems, advises of quality problems; collects data during the shift regarding line speeds, output rates, and downtime Work closely with the manufacturing engineers to improve/keep works station up-to-date and safe Responsible for updating the production status sheet as orders move through the workstations Coaching and training the team leads and the production personnel to continuously improve the skill level Coordinate rework with the quality team and work on implementing improvements to reduce the amount of rework quarter to quarter Production supervisor will work closely with the Santa Ana engineering and planning team to drive continuous improvement and lead time reduction. Profile: Able to manage a production team of 45 people Spanish speaking (+/- 60% of the workforce is only Spanish speaking) Knowledge of Fiber termination knowledge is a huge plus (will need to acquire a deep technical understanding of the fiber termination process within 90 days of employment) Pragmatic and eager to grow | |
