JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Lab Tech Sr. for our client in Alameda, CA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $28.98/Hour Start Time (AM/PM) 8AM End Time (AM/PM) 5PM 100% ONSITE IN ALAMEDA Interview process: First virtual and then on site. This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests and makes qualitative analysis of materials, liquids, and gases. May also set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for the tests, research or process control. Must possess diploma or degree at the Associate or Bachelor level and 1+ years experience. Education: BS in science or engineering field Experience with electronics / wiring / soldering, CAD modeling, and programming are all preferred; Experience: 1 year experience in professional setting post-graduation Candidates need to be able to lift and transport up to 40lb items such recirculating water baths and 5ft compressed gas cylinders. Training and safety equipment will be supplied by Client. There will be carts/dollies/safety equipment for transportation to and from work areas/storage areas. But, once at the destination or initially at the origin, the items will need to be handled solely by the individual. For example- -Unchaining cylinders from transporter/hand truck and manually getting into position and securing to bench/wall per code. Picking up water bath off of benchtop and placing onto carts, and likewise, cart to bench. Exp. working within a QMS is a plus. | |
