JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Material Handler OR Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our client in Doraville, GA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $24.00/Hour RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: Responsible for receiving, shipping, handling and assortment of stored materials and the maintenance of materials appropriate locations. Quality Commitment: Ensure effective control and materials movement. Comply with the guidelines and regulations of Health, Safety and Environment. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Receive material. Locate materials in appropriate locations. Assort material requirements to production area. Support inventory control department on the material cycle counts. Prepare the finished product exit and ship it to the corresponding transport. Perform shipping operations through established computer systems. And other duties as assigned by your manager. Participate in Risk Assessments Participate in EHS suggestions program Participate in EHS observations program Implement and maintain security policy , health and environment at work. To support the committees in identifying risks and environmental aspects. Participate in Training program. Follow-up and review procedures and instructions OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Intervene personally identify and correct unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior Identify and report potential environmental impacts Analyze and prevent the consequences of all actions before any activity Contribute to compliance ( as applicable) objectives and targets for safety, health and environment. Internal and external customers: Warehousing areas, who supply material. Inventory Control Analyst, for material counting. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Skills: Planning and Inventory Control, Skills: analysis and numerical operations, forklift handling preferred. Experience: one year in inventory control desirable. The experience may have been gained in Client or another company. In absence of education requirements, must have two years of experience in the materials area. Language: English LEM behaviors. | |
