Pay Rate - $28-32/hr 1st Shift: 6am-3:30pm, overtime available Job Description Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Typically has a high school diploma or GED. Education/Experience o High school diploma or GED required o 2-4 years' experience required Responsibility level Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required) Team player and detail oriented (Required) Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods (Typically required) Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions (Typically required) Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process Determine work assignments and procedures Shovel and sweep work areas Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts Provide assistance in the production of wiring assemblies Notes from the manager: -Some mechanical skills -Not a typical assembly job -Candidates should have some automotive skills experience, either Diesel or Mechanical -Hands on position -Mechanic background is a PLUS -Forklift certified is a PLUS | |
