Benefits Available! $29.00/Hour Shift Timings : 8am - 5pm Talent Acquisition Specialist We have a unique opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist, to join Varian Medical Systems. The successful candidate will join our global talent acquisition team to support Talent Acquisition. The successful candidate will support our recruiting process while partnering closely with our Talent Acquisition leaders, recruiters, hiring managers & interview teams, and Global People Connect Team to facilitate our hiring process and great candidate experiences. Remote role in Eastern time zone, preferably based in state of GA. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you may focus your efforts in a certain specialty area as well general support: i.e. offer process, Interview process, sourcing, data, early career recruitment, etc. Responsibilities: Facilitate and coordinate support for recruiters, candidates, and hiring managers in the recruiting process Facilitate the offer process in partnership with recruiters from start to finish Administer offer letter delivery to new employees Support and maintain a knowledge base used in execution of process to include process and sub process maps, inventory of content used for offer letters, regular audit and update cadence, stakeholders, etc. Generate reports related to your work at a defined cadence Work in an applicant tracking system to support administrative recruiting functions, track new hires, and retrieve data Interface and communicate with candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams throughout the hiring process Conduct new employee onboarding check-in (on Palo Alto campus) every other Tuesday* Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire Assist talent acquisition in recruitment processes and coordination as needed Requirements: Proven experience as an HR Assistant, recruiting coordinator or similar role Strong knowledge and experience with offer process and offer letter content Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with deadlines Adhere to laws, rules, and personal data privacy regulations Polished and professional presentation and communication; capable of communicating complex content in a succinct manner in-person, over the phone, video, and through written correspondence Ability to guide processes to closure Aptitude in problem-solving Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of experience in an HR Assistant or recruiting coordination role Work Day or ATS system experience Experience using Service Now is a plus Passion for HR/Recruiting methods and processes |
