JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Packaging Machine Operator for our client in Mount Vernon, OH! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! 18.50hour per JOB DESCRIPTION Shifts 1st 90 days Monday trough Friday 6am to 6pm Shift after 90 days 2-2-3 Hours are 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am. The shifts are mandatory 12 hour rotating shifts. We do not have locked shifts at this time. Job Description The Packaging Operator role is the entry level role at the Mt. Vernon facility. This role is responsible for packaging, cleaning, and relieving for breaks. This role will primarily work in the production area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Spotting out bound trucks into material load docks, ensuring dock locks Reclaiming off quality Unbonded Loose fill and refeeding the material to the forehearth Packaging operator placing bags on bagger equipment snouts ensuring proper packaging of finished goods material Performs general cleanup duties in designated areas including, but not limited to, sweeping floor, blowing down the line robot, cleaning break rooms, etc. Assist with Preventative Maintenance processes Perform special needs as determined by plant staff Participates in safety and housekeeping programs as established within the plant. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions Must possess strong communication and organizational skills Must have the ability to multitask Must have strong internal and external customer service skills Must work well in team environment Must be able to work independently Must have to ability to do intermediate mathematical calculations | |
