Shift: Hybrid with 3 days in the office. 9 AM - 5 PM M-F

Purpose of Job:
As a Legal Assistant / Legal Administrator, your primary responsibility is to lead the daily legal operations workflow, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within service level agreements. You will provide legal support across the team, partnering with relevant business units, and assisting the Country Legal Manager and Deputy Legal Manager to mitigate legal risks and optimize business opportunities. Additionally, you will manage the business license process and provide administrative support for legal and governance routines.

Core Responsibilities:

Manage legal projects, including implementing legal technology and providing training on legal technology to the legal team.
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient project completion.
Support administrative functions required by the Country Legal Manager and Legal Manager, including case file management, invoicing, meeting organization, and document organization.
Partner with business units to facilitate document collection, discovery, and internal investigations.
Support the legal team with aspects of litigation, discovery projects, and subpoena management.
Act as a liaison with external auditors, IT, Risk & Compliance, and Group P&C to ensure compliance.
Work independently and as part of a team to complete short-term and long-term projects efficiently.
Identify and address potential problems and inefficiencies in processes.
Monitor and maintain corporate files, as well as update legal documents.
Review documents drafted by attorneys for formatting and substantive issues.
Other Duties:

Perform assigned duties as required.
Contribute to maintaining an environment that embraces diversity and the client's values.
Key Previous Experiences and Proven Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large case files, document collection, and eDiscovery.
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.
Experience with drafting and reviewing simple contracts or corporate resolutions preferred.
Paralegal experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:

Paralegal license required.
Competencies:
Knowledge:

Familiarity with litigation and legal holds.
Proficiency in legal technology such as iManage, Legal Tracker, and Legal Hold Pro.
Experience with document management software, data collection and management systems, and eDiscovery tools.
