Weekly Pay! $24.00/Hour Description: Move materials, supplies and equipment in and out of department. Receive materials, supplies or equipment and place in proper storage locations. Transport materials, supplies or equipment as requested. Assist in maintaining adequate stock levels of materials and supplies available for use. Maintain stockroom Set-up, prepare and manufacture products according to current manufacturing procedures Perform designated processing such as resin regeneration, analytical work, container filling, dryer unloading, sampling of deionized water, sampling for cleanroom monitoring or other processing as required. Clean and store equipment Perform minor repairs and equipment set-up with guidance Identify malfunctions when they exist. Utilize appropriate decision making to correct the malfunction Set up equipment to perform specific unit operations such as unloading trucks, freeze drying products, or resin regeneration. Set up equipment prior to scheduled delivery whenever possible. Start, operate, and stop unit operations. Identify malfunctions in equipment operation and, with appropriate approval, take corrective actions, such as reconfiguring equipment, adjustment of set points or adjusting operating parameters. Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance. Submit work orders for repairs when appropriate. Follow up to ensure repair is prompt and complete. Ensure unit operations are controlled to optimize efficiency and throughput. Accurately perform analytical testing and inspections to determine acceptance/rejection of materials. Transport chemicals and equipment to and from process areas. Schedule deliveries and processes as needed or requested Set up equipment to perform a variety of unit operations, both solitary and in combinations. Start, operate and stop unit operations utilizing manual, automatic or computer controlled systems Report unit operations that appear to be outside of normal state/status to supervision and or shift lead. Report equipment failures and work with repair personnel to correct problems. Control unit operations to optimize quality, quantity and throughput. Transport chemicals and equipment to and from processes. Includes using transfer systems such as pumps and piping or fork trucks. Also includes hand operations with and without mechanical assists such as pallet jacks or dollies. Clean-up equipment and working areas during and after production operations Assure adequate training and documentation required to perform the tasks/assignments. Contribute to support functions of the group (e.g. maintain equipment, prepare reagents, restock lab supplies and waste disposal). Communicate and document status of processes, products, and equipment Communicate status if tasks or operations by means such as labels, inventories, order requests or oral reports. Maintain neat, legible and current records of supplies or materials received, handled, etc. Report deviations and any unusual situations to supervision. Communicate the status of production operations via oral, written or electronic means. Provide a complete and accurate batch record at the conclusion of production operations consistent with quality guidelines. Assist improvement of department?s knowledge through communication of experiences, observations and techniques with others. Enter hours worked into SAP Ensure all applicable log books have been filled out completely as required by current procedures. Document all equipment used and verify calibrations were performed. |
