Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-1030pm Payrate: $34.10/hour Benefits: 401K Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Weekly Pay (Every Friday) Job Overview: The Manufacturing Equipment Technician plays a crucial role in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of highly complex automated manufacturing equipment. They are responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of machinery, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality standards. This role involves mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance and repairs. The technician must possess strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Job Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and adjust highly complex manufacturing equipment, controlling machine settings to optimize production efficiency. Perform routine and major maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of machinery. Prioritize daily work assignments to meet production needs and departmental goals. Schedule and complete preventive maintenance tasks as assigned, ensuring equipment reliability. Support equipment installation and removal, as well as corrective maintenance activities. Monitor production lines, evaluate equipment performance, and identify areas for improvement. Conduct changeovers of equipment and perform operator-level preventive maintenance tasks. Assist with root-cause analysis of process or product exceptions. Ensure accurate documentation of quality, safety, and maintenance records. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams on improvement projects and equipment modifications. Work with external contractors and vendors as needed. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety policies. Work overtime as required to meet business requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Certificate and 2 years of experience in relevant field OR High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience. Relevant fields include Electrical/Electronics Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Industrial Programmer, Electrician, Machine Builder/Repairer, Machinist, Refrigeration Mechanic, or Welding Repairer. Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical skills, with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and equipment specifications. Proficiency in using tools such as multimeters, sensor technology, and precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with PC applications including MS Excel and MS Word. Additional experience preferred in troubleshooting Industrial Control Systems, PLC operations, robotics, vision systems, mechanical design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), SAP maintenance module, and basic machining. Must be capable of working with low-level electrical signals up to 480 VAC. Basic plumbing skills (fluid and pneumatic) and power transmission knowledge are desirable. Additional Notes: This position requires constant mental and visual attention to perform moderately complex tasks with close accuracy and tolerances. The technician must be flexible and adaptable to working on various equipment, processes, projects, or assignments. Safety gear and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory.
