Join Our Team as a Compliance and Import Specialist! Summary of Position Mission: Are you adept at navigating regulatory frameworks and ensuring meticulous compliance? We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance and Import Specialist to join our team. Your mission will be to handle permit applications with precision, coordinate import shipments, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations governing our industry. Responsibilities: *Apply for permits and IIC?s with BATF accurately and promptly. *Coordinate import shipments and work with U.S. Customs Bonded Warehouse. *Establish and maintain procedures and policies for compliance areas. *Receive and verify data for license applications. *Maintain permit charts and notify stakeholders of approval. *Apply for withdrawal permits and maintain files. *Handle NFA forms for Law Enforcement and Class III orders. *Ensure all necessary documents are in place for imports. *Manage purchase orders and international shipments. *Review and sign off entries for U.S. Customs. *Prepare and submit Manifest Discrepancy Reports. *Maintain import processes in QMS and respond to Customs inquiries. *Prepare end-of-year Customs reports for Bond. *Participate in internal serial number inventory process. *Cross-train with Compliance team for coverage. Qualifications & Knowledge Required: *Proficiency in general computer skills. *Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. *Ability to prioritize tasks effectively. *Excellent communication skills. *Proficient in reasoning, mathematics, and language ability. *Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks. Working Conditions: *Work in a climate-controlled office environment and warehouse facility. *Limited exposure to extreme conditions and environmental hazards. *Moderate noise level. Physical Demands: *Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and request assistance if needed. *Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of objects. *Standing and walking throughout the workday. *Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. *Prolonged periods of computer work.
