Join Our Team as a Regulatory Specialist in Georgia, VT. Pay up to $40 per hour. Onsite role, Not remote. Summary of Position Mission: Are you passionate about ensuring regulatory compliance and staying up-to-date with federal regulations? We are seeking a meticulous Compliance Specialist to collaborate with relevant agencies such as BATF, Commerce Department, State Department, U.S. Customs, etc. Your mission will be to conduct compliance audits, update product codes with state law restrictions, and maintain meticulous documentation to ensure adherence to firearms laws and regulations.! Responsibilities: *Conduct research on firearms, ammunition, and related products for various departments. *Monitor and update products with state law restrictions to ensure compliance. *Support daily operations to ensure regulatory compliance. *Maintain California Customer Special Permit files for CA orders. *Provide assistance to ATF and other law enforcement agencies. *Ensure accuracy with E-tax product codes for both foreign and domestic transactions. *Perform audits to ensure compliance with federal and state firearms laws. *Update product codes and maintain compliance documentation. *Manage FFL CD updates and ensure proper documentation for compliance testing. *Facilitate export processes, including license applications and compliance with regulations. *Understand and comply with FCPA regulations and other government agency regulations. *Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ISO standards. *Follow all employment and safety policies and practices. Qualifications & Knowledge Required: *Business or equivalent degree. *5 years of recent compliance experience. *Familiarity with ATF, Department of State, and US Customs requirements. *Previous supervisory experience. *Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. *Proficiency in information systems. *Excellent communication skills. *Extensive import/export experience, preferably with regulated products. *Bonded warehouse experience. *Negotiation skills. Working Conditions: *Work primarily in a climate-controlled office environment. *Occasional exposure to manufacturing and warehouse facilities. *Moderate noise level. *Limited exposure to environmental hazards. *Physical Demands: *Ability to lift objects up to 20 lbs. *Prolonged periods of computer work. *Physical requirements include lifting, pushing, pulling objects. *Sitting for extended periods. *Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching. *Proficient in mental processes such as reasoning, mathematics, and language ability.
