JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Maintenance Manager for our client in Whitakers, NC! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay Rate - $30-40/hr Job Description Manages the planning and execution of the preventive, predictive, and condition based maintenance of production equipment. Key Responsibilities: Manages teams in the maintenance organization. Manages preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable. Develops performance standards and formulates staff development plans. Coaches and leads improvement activities. Manages department budgets. Manages spare parts and indirect materials inventory. Competencies: Project Management - Establishes and maintains the "Balanced Triangle" of Scope, Schedule and Resources for a temporary effort (a "project"). Action oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. Builds effective teams - Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals. Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement. Resourcefulness - Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently. Directs work - Providing direction, delegating, and removing obstacles to get work done. Equipment/Capital Procurement - Selects manufacturing equipment which meets the manufacturing specifications and meets the project or program needs. Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace. Drives engagement - Creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives. Plans and aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. Education, Licenses, Certifications: A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related bachelor degree or higher, required. Experience:3-5 years relevant work experience required. | |
