Weekly Pay! $15.00/Hour 6:00AM - 5:00PM Description: ompany Notes: Willingness to work in cold/wet environments in freezers and able to move 50 to 80lbs without equipment - this could be pushing a box over to count. 80-90% of the job involves cycle counting, spending time in the freezers, though not all day, could be up to a couple of hours. Exposure to seafood, so there is a distinct smell. Steel Toe shoes are mandatory. Basic Excel skills would be beneficial, but not required. Manager prefers in-person interviews to meet the candidate. Forklift experience is preferred; certification can be obtained on-site if needed. Job Description: Responsibilities: Perform cycle counts accurately and efficiently. Compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in the establishment and/or items to be returned. Research root causes for count discrepancies. Perform quality checks and support the product recall process. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of an organization. Exemplary listening skills to facilitate effective two-way communication. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience. Additional Information: This position requires working in varying temperature environments and lifting heavy objects. Candidates should be comfortable with the smell associated with seafood. Safety gear, including steel-toe shoes, must be worn at all times. Candidates with forklift experience are preferred but not required; training can be provided. |
