JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Financial Reporting Accountant for our client in Conshohocken! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay every Friday! $32.00/Hour Shift: 9-5 M-F This is a hybrid position, three days in the office and two WFH. Job Description: The role involves ensuring operational sales and secure reconciliation for Retail locations. This includes verifying received funds from various payment methods, reconciling them with expected payments, and accurately recording transactions in the bookkeeping system. Reporting to the Accounting & Reporting Transactional Team Lead, the Accountant is responsible for: Performing daily safe and sales reconciliation. Collecting and uploading data from manual sources. Preparing journal entries and adjustments for month-end and year-end close. Identifying and investigating variances in cashier, safe, gift card, credit card, and other transactions. Communicating directly with store representatives to resolve discrepancies. Investigating causes of variances and making necessary adjustments. Securing authorization and follow-up from retail locations in case of differences. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance. 0-3 years of accounting/auditing experience. Understanding of payment processing/cash flow. Experience in handling receipts and sales preferred. Potential for management/leadership skills. Essential for the Role: Solid accounting/tax knowledge; experience in finance/accounting/tax preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables. Strong communication and coordination skills. Professional problem-solving and knowledge-sharing abilities. Good time management and analytical skills. Quick learner with the ability to concentrate and work accurately. | |
