We are seeking a candidate with extensive knowledge in credit and collection processes. While accounting experience is a plus, what we are looking for is someone who has experience in dealing with customers and internal sales organizations. This individual will be responsible for managing over 20 internal sales representatives and catering to more than 900 active accounts. Our customer base primarily comprises of chefs who manage restaurants and eateries.

Description:

The job requires at least 5 years of experience in credit and collections, along with good communication skills, proficiency in Excel and Word, and willingness to work on-site. There is a possibility for extension and/or conversion of the position.

Interviews will be in person

Some of the specific job duties include, but are not limited to:

- Setting up new customers in the ERP system
- Establishing credit limits and payment terms as per the company policy
- Conducting weekly meetings with sales personnel to discuss customer issues or collection problems
- Following up directly with customers regarding overdue invoices
- Processing customer payments
- Providing customer statements support to the sales team
- Coordinating with accounting personnel to ensure payments and credit memos are processed accurately and timely.

The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in routine accounting activities, such as maintaining the general ledger, preparing various accounting statements and financial reports, and performing accounts payable or receivable functions. They should also be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field. The candidate should rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and should be able to perform a variety of tasks. They may also need to lead and direct the work of others. The role expects a wide degree of creativity and latitude, and the candidate will typically report to a supervisor or manager.
