Job Title: Junior Software Quality Engineer - Medical Devices Position Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Quality Engineer to join our team in Illinois. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and validation of software utilized in medical devices and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, coordinating validation efforts, and ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to work within a matrixed environment, engaging with various teams and stakeholders both locally and globally. Key Responsibilities: Complete validation of software across multiple sites, including the creation of validation deliverables. Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines. Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with software validation. Work with various software types, including those used in medical devices, manufacturing equipment, clinical trial management systems, CAPA management software, etc. Collaborate with teams within the sites and engage with owners across different departments. Conduct all work within US hours. Top Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of combined experience in software quality and validations, preferably in a regulated environment such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals. (Candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated environment will also be considered.) Experience in cybersecurity and data integrity. FDA submission experience is a plus. Preferably possesses experience with product software. Bachelor's degree required, with consideration given to other disciplines based on relevant work experience. No overqualification limit.
