:8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday to Friday.
12 Month Contract.


In this role, you will collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Service groups to execute processes and develop tools for managing field inventory. Your focus will be on optimizing inventory levels and minimizing expenses, including scrap and freight costs. This position involves close partnership with sales management, sales representatives, and internal leadership to ensure effective execution of consignment inventory and various inventory projects.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Develop and implement processes to manage field inventory, including transactional processes, documentation, reporting, and training.
Optimization: Focus on optimizing inventory levels and minimizing expenses related to scrap and freight.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales management, sales representatives, and internal teams to ensure alignment on inventory targets and project execution.
Field Engagement: Spend time in the field with sales personnel to understand business needs and current inventory status.
Policy Implementation: Ensure sales representatives are informed of consignment return procedures and organizational inventory management policies.
Proactive Monitoring: Monitor and maintain inventory levels in partnership with the sales team and internal stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance: Implement Use Before Date policies and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other regulatory requirements.
Data Analysis: Extract data and create reports to identify inventory issues and support stock rotation initiatives.
Problem Resolution: Resolve inventory discrepancies with customer service, distribution teams, and customers.
Cycle Counts Coordination: Coordinate cycle count activities with sales representatives and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Freshly graduated college students will be considered.
Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP/Business Objects.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Preferred:

Over 3 years of experience in customer service, purchasing, material management, or warehouse management.
Experience in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model.
Knowledge of ERP or MRP systems.
