Weekly Pay! $22.00/Hour Description: Must have experience working with hands preferably in automotive or aerospace. Must also have computer skills Must have computer skills, great work ethic and BOTH technical/mechanical must have technical and mechanical background. Would like to see someone with automotive, electrical, plumbing, construction, machining, or aviation background. Computer skills are also a plus. Performs standard assembly and testing processes on a variety of equipment. Prefer 3-6 years of manufacturing experience in a related area. Performs a variety of tasks. Must be able to work with minimal direct supervision. Special Considerations: Lifting may exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant. Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated. Use of precision tools, fixtures and measuring equipment to perform assembly, in-process inspections, calibration, and test of hydro-mechanical fuel controls in an aerospace production/quality environment. Follows all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations. Performs work through the utilization of electronic work instructions, engineering and quality procedures, blueprints and other specifications. Reads, understands and works to Quality Procedures. Visually inspects parts and product for quality. Detects and reports faulty operation, defective tools and materials. Initiates action to prevent/correct product/process non-conformity. Maintain all required documentation and records accurately and in a timely manner. Maintains work areas and tools according to Visual Management and 5S Standards. Must be able to work overtime, including weekends. Attend and actively participate in daily Tier meetings Participate in continuous improvement and rapid problem solving Perform all other related duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: US Citizen High School Diploma Able to follow detailed assembly and test instructions consistently, and interpret blueprints/drawings. Ability to use precision measuring devices such as micrometers, dial indicators, dial calipers and depth micrometers. Ability to work with hand tools of different types. Basic computer skills with ability to navigate internet and MS office. Intermediate math skills Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 2-3 years experience in an assembly and/or test manufacturing environment North Carolina Work Keys Career Readiness certificate, Silver or Gold preferred Six Sigma training or certification Associates degree Able to work and communicate well with others. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced aerospace production environment. Must be able to work in a team environment and solve issues at the lowest level. Knowledge and demonstrated adherence to 5-S principles Have led or actively participated in an continuous improvement manufacturing activity Vision Testing must be completed within the first week of the subcontractor?s assignment All US, ISC, touch labor roles are eligible - Subco Bonus Program to 3k, and a change in the pay-out structure: $1k at 14 days w/perfect attendance; $1k at 60 days $1k at 90 days to get 60 and 90 day bonus; worker must have received 14 day bonus. This position is located at the Client facility in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This facility manufactures sophisticated electromechanical and electro-hydraulic control systems for aircraft and helicopter engines in both commercial and military applications. No relocation benefits are being offered with this position. Therefore, only local candidates will be considered. Local is defined as residing within approximately 50 miles of the facility. Training will be OJT (on the job) during first shift hours. ALL OT MUST BE PREAPPROVED BY Client SUPERVISOR BEFORE ANY OT HOURS ARE ACCRUED BY EMPLOYEE. Steel toes are required The minimum level of education required for ISC assignments is High School diploma/GED. Suppliers should obtain a copy of the candidates highest level of education (HSD/GED or degree) to avoid delays in onboarding. Worker will utilize one of the following Timekeeping systems: Worker will utilize eShop for weekly time reporting. Supplier should register in Fieldglass on behalf of worker as he/she will not need access to this system. It is imperative that the registration is completed as soon as possible after receipt of registration invitation in order to assign the Fieldglass Worker # to the contingent worker. This Fieldglass Worker # is required to properly setup the worker in shop for time reporting by HON manager. Your attention to this process will eliminate delays in receipt of worker hours and invoice creation. Client manager is responsible for training worker to utilize eShop system |
