1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Hybrid position with 1-2 days in office

Job Description
Manages, develops, and implements project(s) of varying complexity and size in assigned functional area. Partners with business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Leads multiple projects from inception to completion; facilitates project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project; works with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals; designs project plan, develops timeline, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline.
Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues.
Monitors and communicates project status to project team.
Plans and monitors project budget, conducts research and analysis; provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.
Manages project risk; uses quality tools to identify areas of risk; works with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions.
Documents and shares team learnings with other teams; draws on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the project.
Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments.
Identifies and assigns appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks; guides and coaches team members through various stages of the project; provides developmental feedback to team members.

To be considered for this position the candidate will need a bachelor?s degree in any engineering field or equivalent experience of years doing the same work. This candidate will be managing multiple projects that are assigned from the sales team. This candidate will need to familiarize themselves with the customer, managing technical submittal processes, managing order/ship dates, communicating to customers and vendors. This candidate will be responsible for the lifecycle of the project.

Work Plan:

GROW OUR BUSINESS PROFITABLY
1. Review and select from Western stock list prior to requesting PSBU orders.
2. Attend quarterly project closure meetings to ensure all applicable projects are closed quarterly and on margin targets.
3. Attend internal/external power hours and customer seminars.
4. Improve project milestone accuracy in SF for reporting accuracy.
5. Actively monitor and protect project financials and take corrective action when needed.
6. Document variances throughout the life of the project.

IMPROVE OUR CUSTOMERS EXPERIENCE

1. Engage with Fridley COM to help with forecast accuracy.
2. Ensure a 3-day timeline from delivery or shipment invoicing.
3. 100% in-office attendance 1-2 days per week.
4. Maintain minimum hours of availability (8am-5pm; M-F)
5. Attend a customer meeting (jobsite, office, etc.) at least once a month and document the interaction in SF.
6. Regularly update customers on ship dates and notify them immediately of any changes.
7. Drive accountability with other internal and external stakeholders to get desired results.
8. Take complete ownership of projects and be the one voice to the customer.
9. Conduct internal kickoff meetings for complex/high dollar projects.
10. Send submittals to customers as soon as they are available and own the submittal approval process.

TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE
1. Raise/address issues through OHI workshop event(s) as well as in team/manager meetings.
2. Be a resource to your teammates by sharing information, best practices and lessons learned and offering to help in areas of your expertise.
3. Take on new projects that may be outside of typical AOR when others are out of the office.
