Weekly Pay! $20.00/Hour DESCRIPTION: Environment: Contractors will be working in the warehouse that is about 35 degrees F. They may occasionally be asked to help in the freezer to move pallets (usually in and out). Equipment: Pallet jacks and power jacks ( 2 years of experience) Top 3 things a candidate should have to be successful in this job. Warehouse experience - palletizing and pallet jack experience (please show on resume what job they did this). Able to lift 80lbs. Able to read labels and understand weights and using old dates first product rotation. Would someone who worked at Amazon/FedEx/Ups be good at this position: this position will be different. This position requires more attention to detail and reading labels on boxes. Experience in food production is a + . This position will need to understand what product to use first. Interviews will be done in person. 2-5 Years of Experience, Responsible for properly palletizing product as it is conveyed on the warehouse dock, ensuring product has been segregated by delivery location, date, priority, or stock items. Responsible for material handling and making sure production has the materials needed. As pallets are filled, moves product to designated holding area (dock, blast freezer, etc.). Re-labels stock cases to orders as requested. Separates products on pallets/racks following established policies and procedures; ensures all product has successfully passed through metal detectors and x-ray systems; performs visual inspection of all products to assure no damaged cases, cases strapped, no leaking product, all product labeled; re-labels existing stock products to orders as requested; performs other duties as assigned. Basic requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, experience operating pallet jacks, and experience working in a warehouse environment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 100 lbs and the ability to operate in cold environment. Reports to Warehouse Supervisor. | |
