Utilizing strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, this 1st level response help desk technician will assist in answering customer calls, responding to service tickets, and setting up new equipment for onboarding customers to our SaaS solution called RightBytes. This role involves configuring kiosks, tablets, and various tech equipment to help our customers be more profitable and productive, while also working as part of an IT help desk support staff.

Requirements:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
Receive and log client requests and own end-to-end customer interaction.
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process while providing excellent customer service.
Set up, configure, and support kiosks, tablets, and other tech equipment as part of the customer onboarding process for the RightBytes SaaS solution.
Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures.
Document issues and solutions within a SharePoint/Microsoft Teams environment.
Install, configure, and support multiple software applications.

Experience and Education:
Education and/or Experience: Associate?s degree (A.A.) in Information Technology; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication/Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend documents, simple instructions, and product labels.
Technical Competencies: Tech-savvy with experience and knowledge in MS Office products (Excel & Word), as well as experience in configuring and supporting various tech equipment.
Mathematical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts along with performing basic math functions.
Reasoning Abilities: Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities.

This position will do equipment setups and customer IT support. Ideal candidate with have entry level IT knowledge and customer service skills
