Shift Details: 6:45 - 2:45PM

Job Description
Aids in the setup of all meeting rooms and special event spaces.
Coordinates the moving of all tables, chairs, podiums, easels, flipcharts, and other conference center furniture in accordance with that day?s setups.
Reads floorplans and executes setups accordingly with the correct furniture.
Assists in transporting, removing or altering open space within the facility
Organizes work areas within the operation
Manages inventory of conference center furniture. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas.
Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, and verifies items.
Attends daily check-in meetings with the conference center staff to review the following day?s meeting and events setups.
Processes and distributes a variety of incoming shipments, including training supplies, office equipment, promotional items, and other materials.
Assembles and delivers equipment.
Follows all safety requirements of Client, the facility, local, state and federal jurisdictions.
May move or transport materials or supplies to other departments using hand or industrial trucks.
Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
Upholds and enforces Client's safety standards.
Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
Attends virtual training programs as designated.
Assist with various facilities duties as time allows.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Experience/Knowledge:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
No previous work experience necessary.

Skills/Aptitude:

Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
Ability to use a computer.

Physical Requirements:

Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
Significant walking or other means of mobility.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.

Working Conditions (may add additional conditions specific to defined work location):
Generally in an indoor setting; however, may assist with a few outdoor events.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
