DESCRIPTION:

The Training and Development Coordinator position is a temporary role that is full-time which supports the Russellville XPS Foam start up Training Program. The coordinator?s primary responsibilities include organizing and administering the training program, tracking employee progress to completion, and ensuring employees complete necessary training closing skill gaps. The coordinator may also assist in conducting training on general topics such as plant rules and regulations and help organize training sessions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Supports Russellville Training initiatives.
Responsible for the organization and administration of the training program
Tracks, records, and reports on trainee progress and needs.
Ensures operations complete necessary training.
Assists in training general topics such as plant rules and regulations.
Develops and executes logistical plans to support the employee training plan.
Facilitates communication between multiple levels of the organization to remove roadblocks and ensure successful completion of training plans.
Maintains training records and assembles training materials.
Applies basic computer skills and utilizes various computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, etc.)
Promotes the well-being of an injury-free life for all employees.
Complies with all plant rules, safety & quality regulations, and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Performs all other duties related to this position as assigned or needed.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The employee should hold the following abilities:

Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Spanish is a plus.
Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Must have the ability to effectively prioritize multiple assignments.
Must have strong internal and external customer service skills.
Must work well in a team environment.
Must be able to work independently.
Must have the ability to do basic mathematical calculations.
Must possess strong leadership skills.
Must possess basic PC operational skills.
Must possess presentation skills and the ability to train others.
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPETENCIES

Must be able to:

Operate a computer and basic peripherals.
Navigate to multiple file locations.
Operate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Should have the following:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Related experience and/or training in an industrial environment
Must provide proof of valid authorization to work in the U.S.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be drug and alcohol-free.
