Job Title: CNC Machinist Grinding Pay Rate: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Location: Lawrenceville, GA Shift: Mon - Friday( 2PM - 10:30PM) {First Day Hours: 8AM - 5PM } Job Duties: - Plan, schedule, and set up equipment using precision measuring devices and machine attachments. - Grind tools and dies to specific dimensions by adjusting machine controls. - Compute dimensions, widths, and angles of cutting tools using micrometers, scales, and gauges. - Install, dress, and remove grinding wheels based on specifications and grinding procedures. - Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions. - Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety regulations and procedures. - Contribute to team efforts by meeting production goals and assisting with related tasks as needed. Key Qualifications: - Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. - 3+ years of experience in grinding. - Experience with precision measuring devices and the ability to inspect finished products for quality. - Proficiency in reading blueprints and CAD drawings. - Strong time management, organization, and safety skills. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations. - Flexible with rotating shifts. - Journeyman certification and experience with Amada Profile Grinding machines are a plus.## | |
