Position: Logistics and Dispatch Specialist ?? Pay: $20/hour ?? Location: Houston, TX Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a **Logistics and Dispatch Specialist** to manage inbound and outbound logistics, dock-to-dock inventory controls, and communicate with freight companies to ensure timely shipments. This role requires experience in dispatching, inventory control, and forklift operations. You will coordinate with the U.S. Warehouse, Shipping department, and other key departments to maintain compliance with regulations, track shipments, and keep detailed records of import/export movements. Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - 0-1 years of related experience. - Forklift experience required. - Dispatch experience required. - Ability to work with minimal supervision. - Strong attention to detail, integrity, and timeliness. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of logistics operations. - Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Manage inbound/outbound logistics and inventory control through the Legacy system. - Ensure compliance with Anexo 24 and Article 303 to prevent penalties or loss of import privileges. - Communicate with U.S. Warehouse and Shipping departments to verify proper documentation for imported/exported goods. - Maintain communication with freight companies to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments. - Update the PSI database with parts and raw materials cost information. - Keep daily reports on all import/export movements and ensure all parties are informed. - Strictly follow C-TPAT requirements for truck safety seals. - Prepare monthly and annual reports for accounting and operations. - Inspect products and record inventory transactions based on a quality checklist. - Make routine adjustments to work area machines or systems. | |
