Weekly Pay! $40.00/Hour DESCRIPTION Job Overview: Join the Parker Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division as an Electronics Technician and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing aerospace technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support electronics, data acquisition, hydraulics, and testing initiatives in our R&D Test Lab. Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to enhance lab capabilities, conduct critical development and certification testing, and contribute to innovative aerospace projects. Our team fosters a strong learning culture, where knowledge sharing and professional development are highly encouraged. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the R&D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects. Wire, calibrate, and troubleshoot mechanical, fluid, and thermal sensors essential for aerospace testing. Design and improve pressure, flow, and spray test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency. Operate and maintain fabrication equipment (e.g., tube bender, drill press, milling machine) and calibration tools (e.g., viscometer, densometer). Assist in upgrading hydraulic test stands, focusing on control valves, pumps, and automation systems. Lead calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability. Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed. Present project plans, data, and results to the team, generating detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making. Support fellow engineers with projects and tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment. Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to a zero-incident culture. Qualifications: Education: Completed two-year degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology or a closely related field. Hands-On Skills: Strong experience in fabrication, soldering/wiring, and electronics troubleshooting. Communication: Excellent skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with precise scientific documentation abilities. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation. Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to Parker facilities, local universities, and suppliers. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen. |
