JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Machine Operator for our client in Freeport, IL! Pay $21.00/Hr 1st shift hours regularly are 6:30am-3pm. Over time for 10 hrs. employees come in at 4:30am As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products and services for our customers. Strong manual dexterity and good eye hand coordination required. Must be able to perform well defined visual procedures and processes often following written documentation or visual aids. Ability to use, after training, various injection, and compression machines. Hand trim parts and at times, measurement gages to verify or discern the quality of product being produced on automatic/manual equipment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work area, setting up and monitoring production, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production, and quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITES ? Monitor machine to perform a variety of Machine Injection and Compression Press processes which will result in electrical safety products. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. ? Excellent observation skills to identify key details and potential issues. ? Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and performing routine maintenance tasks. ? Creative thinking and idea generation to contribute to process improvements. ? Strong analytical skills to analyze information and concepts effectively. ? Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively. U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. YOU MUST HAVE ? High School Diploma or equivalent. ? Strong technical skills and ability to operate machinery and equipment. This can be an entry level position. Prior experience as a machine operator is desired. ? Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis. WE VALUE ? Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with precision and attention to detail. ?
