Our client in the Los Angeles location has an open position for a QA Technician 2nd shift, start time between 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Pay rate, depending on experience. Preferable bilingual Understanding of HACCP principles, GMP's, and SSOPs Basic mathematical skills ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as divisions, percentages, averages, etc, Knowledge of computer, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Monitor food safety and defense programs including: o Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures o Metal Detection o Pest Control o Good Manufacturing Practices o Chemical Control o Pre-Operational and Operational Sanitation o Food Defense o Supplier Approval & Receiving Documentation · Record and audit lot numbers of ingredients and packaging materials issued and used by production. · Perform Net Weight checks and track process controls. · Perform seal check on finished good junior boxes · Perform finished product sensory evaluation · Monitor temperatures of sauces, proteins (if applies), starches and other components. · Collect hourly QA back up samples. · Collect micro testing samples per testing schedule. · Pack off QA back up samples weekly, log information in retain box log, and send samples for storage. · Responsible for performing raw material evaluations on incoming supplier shipments. · Convey raw material and product quality issues to management · Perform actions to resolve issues and implement corrective measures · Responsible to place on hold non-conforming product · Perform internal equipment calibration according to Procedure · Perform Internal GMP Audit send resume | |
