JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire an Import and Export Analyst for our client to work remotely! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $40.19/Hour 8:00AM - 5:00PM Temp to perm! DESCRIPTION: Two must have: Classification experience (3-5 years) Free trade applicability experience (3-5 years) Stable (length) Relevant work experience Good to Have: Microsoft Office products (Ex: Teams, outlooks, excel.) Global trade systems ERP systems (SAP) Day to Day: Contractor will be assigned USMCA determination. (review bill of materials to determine if free trade applicability). Contractor will need to also do classification, use the Tariff Schedule to determine the correct harmonized tariff number and part number and the ECCN.. The position will report to the US/CALA Import/Export Trade Compliance Sr. Manager and will be a remote position. The incumbent will be expected to participate and contribute to the many facets of responsibilities, processes, and procedures which the Trade Compliance Department manages across the company. The desired soft skills for this position requires the individual to be self-motivated, ability to stay focused, be detail-oriented and demonstrate a passionate, can-do team attitude. The remote environment requires the individual to hold themselves accountable and work efficiently with limited supervision. Job Duties to include but not limited to: CLASSIFICATION (PREDOMINANTLY US HTS, SCHEDULE B, ECCN, LIMITED CALA REGION) Closely align and interface with cross-functional teams, trade compliance peers, and other business partners to obtain the necessary technical characteristics and data that will enable timely classification determination requirements. Classify products, spare parts, equipment & tooling, and 3rd party products in accordance with Import Administration Regulations and communicating the information, as needed. Maintaining classifications and import logic in enterprise systems. Review ADD/CVD applicability. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN DETERMINATION Country of Manufacture/substantial transformation determination Free Trade Applicability Review Requests TRANSACTIONAL Denied Party Screening reviews. Post Entry/Exit audits. Recordkeeping. Key Qualifications: Desired Bachelor?s degree or 5 years commensurate work experience in international trade. US Customs Broker License or other industry certification is desired. Strong working knowledge and experience with classification and origin determinations Ability to refine and develop processes to gather the information necessary to classify the products against the regulations. Experience in creating & maintaining documentation of Import Compliance controls & processes and record keeping desired. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in business correspondence (e-mails). Flexibility & adaptability to enthusiastically cross-support other Import Compliance areas. Working knowledge of SAP/GTS is desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and PC skills. The incumbent must have all the necessary tools in place to successfully work in a remote, home-based environment. High School Degree |
