Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team in the Medical Devices sector. Our company prides itself on providing innovative healthcare solutions, and our Material Handlers play a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials that support our manufacturing and distribution processes. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the handling and management of materials, components, and finished products critical to the development of medical devices. You will work in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and timeliness are paramount. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of inventory management, quality assurance, and logistics in a production setting.

Shift- 7:30AM w/ 45 min lunch - 40 hrs/wk

Duties and Responsibilities
Pallet/Case Picking
· Processing customer orders including but not limited to scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.
· Pick and pack orders.
· Processing orders through RF technology.
· Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions.
· Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
· Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles
· Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.

Pallet Build
· Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets.
· Re-palletizing products for shipment.
· May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper.
· May be required to transport pallets by walking MHE.
· Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.


Job Requirements
· High School diploma, GED or 1 year of relevant experience required.
· Experience with Forklift preferred.
· Good verbal communication skills.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
· Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
· Ability to work well with others.
· Ability to work under minimal supervision.
· Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.
