*Position: 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor*

Since its establishment in 1996, Shine Foods has been renowned for producing some of the most delicious and authentic Asian appetizers in the United States. We are currently seeking a qualified Purchasing/Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team.

*Job Summary:*
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleaning and sanitization processes of production equipment and lines. This position encompasses a supervisory role, which involves managing the sanitation team.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Ensure that plant cleanliness adheres to established quality, cost, and efficiency standards.
- Motivate employees to fulfill their tasks while maintaining productivity and sanitation standards.
- Conduct inspections of the premises to identify any unsanitary practices and conditions.
- Prepare and manage sanitation chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
- Train and coach sanitation employees on sanitation cleaning procedures (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, SSOPs).
- Conduct daily post-sanitation performance inspections to verify the quality of work performed.
- Ensure the accurate mixing of chemicals or cleaning solutions required for sanitizing equipment and the facility, as well as reassembling equipment as necessary.
- Interact regularly with Quality Assurance and Production teams regarding sanitation activities and performance.
- Provide leadership and direction to the assigned sanitation crew.
- Assist in the training of new employees and the retraining of existing personnel.
- Support the Plant Manager and Quality Assurance department in conducting food safety audits.

*Food Safety Responsibilities:*
All employees are obligated to promptly report and assist in the resolution or control of any food safety issues they observe to their immediate supervisor. Furthermore, they are required to monitor and uphold Good Manufacturing Practices.

*Physical Requirements:*
The candidate must possess the ability to stand and sit for extended periods, navigate through production areas, and operate various office equipment, including computers, telephones, scanners, and copiers. The role requires the frequent lifting and/or carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as the frequent pushing or pulling of similar weights.

*Additional Requirements:*
Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Bi-lingual Spanish/English is greatly desirable
