SHIFT: Shift (10% shift differential) / Overtime May Be Required WORK SCHEDULE: 2nd 3:30 pm -12 am M-F OR 3rd S-Th 11 pm-7am WAGE RATE: Earn up to $24.95/hour (Starting wage negotiable based on experience) Lab Inspector POSITION SUMMARY: As a Lab Inspector, you will oversee the final inspection of products from the Made To Order (MTO) and Made To Stock (MTS) Value Streams, ensuring they meet specifications. Additionally, you may conduct rework processes when necessary. Lab Inspector Essential Job Functions: ? Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications, including visual finish, size, and tolerance. ? Analyze defective products to determine the cause of defects and perform rework processes, such as Roll Lapping, Facing, Chamfering, and Cut-Off. ? Access information using internal computer software programs. ? Calibrate various gauges and set up precision measuring equipment. ? Record inspection data manually and/or enter it into the computer system. ? Perform proficiency testing for internal and external diameters. ? Learn and apply Quality Procedures related to ISO17025 and IS9001. Lab Inspector Qualifications: REQUIRED ? High school diploma or equivalent. ? Basic mathematical skills and computer proficiency. ? Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or in a team. ? Attention to detail and familiarity with LEAN principles preferred. ? Must be 18 years of age or older. Lab Inspector Additional Requirements: ? Employment contingent upon satisfactory completion of criminal background investigations and passing a pre-employment drug screen.
