Weekly Pay! $26.50/Hour Shift Details: Shift: 1 Working Days: Monday - Friday Day Starts at: 8:00AM Day Ends at: 4:30PM DESCRIPTION: The contractor, under general supervision, is responsible for the safety and efficiency of the use of any equipment needed to do their job. Responsibilities include a wide variety of assignments as assigned by immediate supervisor. Such as but not limited to weighing up ingredients for lab batches, unique ingredient ordering for restocking, analytical measurements with project specific equipment, assist scientist with hands on project work, data entry, manage independent project with manager oversite, set up product tastings, Determines research objectives, designs experiment, collects data, analyzes and interprets results, summarizes findings, provides recommendations relative to the information and effectively communicates findings and recommendations Confer with food scientists, process and packaging engineers, chefs, plant operators, flavor experts, and marketing specialist to resolve problems in product development Documenting or Recording Information Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form. Run analytical equipment related to project work Assist other team members to complete task in an efficient manner Support product developers in all areas of kitchen work Taste soup, sauces, and beverages for project research Education: Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Engineering, or related field Technology: Microsoft Office Software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word Skills: Written or Verbal for effective communication with manager, peers, and other team members Organizational and planning skills to proactively progress work to meet deliverable Own and drive project area to completion Appropriately allocates time (with manager) and contingency plans to ensure success Partner with team member to advance projects and be able to function effectively in cross functional team environment Critical Thinking Analytical Thinking or Problem solving Able to lift to 50 lbs. | |
