JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Gas and Chemical Technician for our client in Tualatin, OR! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $30.00/Hour Shift Details: 1st shift Day Starts at: 6:00AM Day Ends at: 6:00PM DESCRIPTION: The individual will be responsible for supporting operations of Life Safety Systems which include Fire & Gas Detection, Seismic monitoring or shutdowns, scrubbed exhaust sensors, and Fire Protection electrical signals. Participate in the testing of Fire detection systems driven by a PM schedule. Support and assist Safety Level gas detection testing with controls engineer, programming. Maintenance of gas detection systems will include performing tape changeouts & monthly F2 sensor bump tests. You will also manage gas detection tape inventory and place orders as needed. This role will also work with onsite services to review and issue FLSS permits for campus construction and maintenance activities as required. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience with FLSS equipment (FACP, Gas Detection, Fire systems) Associate degree or equivalent experience in electronics, design, or engineering | |
